The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

Restlessness can grip you like a vice during the night. Every murmuration becomes amplified, every shadow takes on an ominous form. You toss and turn, your thoughts swirling, desperate for some elusive peace. Sleep, once a gentle sanctuary, has become a distant fantasy. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity of torment.

We seek for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these moments of isolation that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Craving for Sweet Oblivion

The throes of oblivion was a siren's call, a whispered promise of rest. To drown in its embrace was to silence the incessant cacophony of existence. The reality's sharp edges blurred under the influence of its peace.

To truly desire oblivion was to yearn for a fleeting respite from the cruelty of being.
